Talk:Borel field of sets

From Encyclopedia of Mathematics
Jump to: navigation, search

Probably an obsolete terminology. As far as I know, a Borel σ-field on a topological space usually means the σ-field generated by open sets. And the σ-field generated by an arbitrary M has no special name. --Boris Tsirelson 18:19, 23 July 2012 (CEST)

No complaints on that from me -- this is one of my "pick a random page, and if it is not too long then tex it" pages. --Jjg 23:10, 23 July 2012 (CEST)
Sure, I did not blame you. Rather, your activity drew my attention to this article. --Boris Tsirelson 08:00, 24 July 2012 (CEST)
