Gauss-Lucas theorem

Gauss theorem

Let $f(z)$ be a complex polynomial, i.e., $f(z)\in\mathbf C[z]$. Then the zeros of the derivative $f'(z)$ are inside the convex polygon spanned by the zeros of $f(z)$.
